Nose hairs serve a specific function and are there for a reason, but they must be kept trimmed. Nobody wants to look at them.

I agree when you can see them. Trimmers are so inexpensive, easy and painless to use that there's no reason not to groom.

My parents neighbour has his nose hairs waxed. Says it's much more painless than plucking.
He also says that there are other little hairs further up in the nose that are used to block things out and to thin out the long front hairs isn't going to hurt anything.
