Why would guys keep looking at me (out of curiousity, I guess)..and not come up and say anything to me? They'll keep looking at whatever I'm doing!

LOL!!!!! I'm not laughing at you, its the question. Its a GREAT one!!!!!

Gathering Intelligence ma'am. You can learn a lot about someone by just observing them and there habits <shrug>.

Watching to see how you interact with others, weighing those reactions on there chances of perhaps being able to converse with you longer than, "Hello".

I appologise if this doesn't help as I'm not so good at chatting it up with a woman that I am interested in. Uneasy and such. I would almost prefer to go back to Iraq and face mortar fire and attacks (Bullets and such) than approach a Woman <chuckle>. Sad I know but, in a Combat situation I at least for the most part know the rules of engagement, Kill or be Killed :P.

Please let me know if that helped at all.

Because we think your cute and needing some encouragement from you to come talk to you. Maybe? No one likes rejection so the more positive ques you give a guy the more likely he is to give it a try. Some of us guys dont pick up subtle ques either, you have to hit over the head.

It's interesting that you guys say that because I had said hi to some guy when leaving our staff room and the guy who comes to mind (always looks, but never talks with me) was standing in front of one of the dorms and waiting on something. He looked at me, looked away, looked again and then, as I passed -I said morning to him. He smiled, said hi. Maybe it means nothing...
but after 3months of someone constantly looking...this HI was ONE Great START, hahah! So cute!

1. Lots of girls imagine they are being looked at when they aren't. Maybe the guy is looking at the girl behind you.

2. Your body language/appearance says something that keeps them away.

3. Lot's of guys look...it's one of their favorite pastimes. Doesn't mean they want a relationship with every girl they look at.

Another thing is that I know I look at people a great deal, but I'm only likely to keep looking at someone or at least in their direction if I am interested in them. I wouldn't keep looking and probably I'd look away if I wasn't in some way interested. You can be curious one or 2 times, but frequently...??? ( I saw him at a supermarket and then looked back at the cash desk. I looked back and there he was staring over the vegetable stand looking as he walked away with another girl...passed him a few days ago and he was looking...was going into the radiology room -saw him as I was going in and he kept looking...these are pretty isolated places!)

Maybe he keeps seeing you looking at him and wonders why you're always staring at him? lol

Yes, it is second to mother nature .... people watching. Curiosity I guess. It has nothing to do with looks. Maybe when someone is looking at you, a nice smile would brighten up their day ....

Boy I must be rude! I usually say: Take a picture it last longer

Why do I care that they are looking? If they ain't talking then it has nothing to do with me, that's just the way I see it.

I myself was a shy person, however I do not play the game, it's either you want to talk or take a pic and join the jimmy fund!

Hmmm! I think I said that to my first husband come to think of it

A few months ago, a guy was doing the same thing to me. I posted a question on "He says" to figure it out. It's something that some guys do, but not all of them. It could mean that he's interested, maybe you should make the attempt to initiate conversation and see what's his response.

I do that with girls I am interested in but too shy to talk to. However, once they smile back, look back, say hi or do something to give me a sign, if I am really interested, I will go talk to them.

Hey, I ask a question about this type of situation from the guys perspective. Keeping in mind that I do the whole "stare thing" (sometimes), do you think you could give your input?

or go to my profile and its under "come get me signs"
