This is the ever important debate about which is the best of the Charlie Brown specials.

Without a doubt, A Charlie Brown Christmas is by far the best!!! I love the tree, before and after!

A Charlie Brown Christmas is the king of the Christmas specials. It's mile above any other. I want to use the Linus part as my Sunday school class's skit this year.

I voted for the Christmas special too! Although, I really enjoy the others too!

We actually used this as part of a play we wrote & performed in Jr. High (yep in public school nonetheless - but that was the "good old days", I suspect now they'd be told they couldn't use it).

I like the "This is America, Charlie Brown" specials. Great history in those things. My favorite are the Mayflower and the Constitution ones.

Charlie Brown Christmas: creme de la creme

Strong 2nd is the Thanksgiving one

Do they re-air any of the non-specific holiday ones (i.e.: the aforementioned ones and the Great Pumpkin) anymore?

I almost never see the "This is America, Charlie Brown", though I HIGHLY recommend getting the DVD's. I'll occasionally see the Great Pumpkin special, though.

The music alone is enough to make Charlie Brown Christmas leagues above all else!

The Great Pumpkin is really good too, especially when Linus freaks out.

Some of them are really bad, too.

Isn't there one where everyone goes to camp, and they have a race down a river? That one wasn't terrible, but it had a few cringe moments.

I like Charlie Brown, but it always bugged me to never see the adults.

I voted all of the above, but for some reason I especially enjoy the movie "Race for your life Charlie Brown."

There have been some Peanuts that haven't been the greatest, but even those are a far cry better than most of what is aimed at kids today. I never could pick one favorite.

We have The Great Pumpkin, the Thanksgiving show, and the Christmas show ... while all of them are really wonderful, we always giggle hysterically when Snoopy tosses the plates to everyone at the big Thanksgiving table. LOLOL

Although - I really love the Christmas show because it has a Bible verse in it!!
(do they still show that on TV?)

I love a charlie brown Christmas. What makes it even funnier is when a school teacher wanted a tree for the school. She sent her husband who was the principal to go and get one. When she was asked if he got the tree yet she did the funniest eye roll and said yeah a charlie brown tree. I just laugh every time I think of that. The look on her face and tone of her voice as she said that just makes me crack up every time.

I voted the CHristmas one but I also like the Great Pumpkin. Linus makes a good point about comparing the Great Pumpkin to Santa.

Christmas is my favorite, but I like the others. We have the boxed set of the classics.

My favorite Christmas CD is Vince Guaraldi's "Charlie Brown Christmas"---I could listen to it all year, but I want to keep it special, ya know? I love it when my son plays "Christmastime Is Here" on the piano.

My favorite is a tie: Charlie Brown Christmas, and The Great Pumpkin. My favorite lines:

From Great Pumpkin:

Linus: "AAGGGHHH!! You didn't tell me you were going to kill it."

From Christmas:

Linus: "And that's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown."

and

Lucy: "I'll give you five good reasons, 1-2-3-4-5."
Linus: "Those are five good reasons"
