The best way to connect with God is to talk with Him. That includes listening and reading what He's already said.

I put aside time and don't let others things into it, and I listen to inspired teaching and preaching of God's Word daily.

I have been putting aside my time to read my bible,journal on what God is speaking to me about,and think over how good God is to us.

I find listening to inspired teaching and preaching builds me up, and gives me the answers I need in how to do things in the spiritual way in my life.

Quite/alone time with God in prayer and bible reading. God usually speaks to me through His word. Also going to church and spending time with fellow Christians.

Although I've been a Christian my whole life (25 yrs), I JUST NOW started reading the Word for the first time EVER...sad, I know.
I also have a journal that I write praises or sometimes commitments to God in...I really enjoy writing little "love notes."
And of course I pray a lot, as I always have, but I'm reading a book about praying the scriptures. Actually, that may even be the title of the book. I just think it's helping me understand and connect with Him better.
OH, and spontaneous praise & worship with or without music definitely draws me closer to Him.
