Hello. I seem to have this wall around me keeping me from coming back to the Lord. I am desperately trying and wanting this wall to tumble down. The wall I am referring to is keeping me and Jesus from being re-united.

I don't go to church (yet). I moved to a new town five years ago and have gone to church once during that time, that's it!

I guess I will ask you to pray for my relationship with Jesus, that the walls that are keeping us apart, will come tumbling down like the walls of Jerico.

Please allow me to also say this...in general I don't like Christians per se. I don't trust them, having been burned by them in the past. My doing, their doing, it doesn't matter. All I know is that Jesus Christ is Lord, and every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

I am glad to be here. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums!

Do you have an idea what the wall is made of? That'd be helpful both in praying for you and for you to work on breaking it down.

- Pride?
- Your dislike of Christians?
- Some pet sin you don't want to get rid of?

Knowing what the barrier is, is the first step to breaking it down.

Good to have you here!

Sorry - I didn't mean to come off like that. I'm a fixer; you said you have a wall separating you from Jesus; to get rid of the wall, it must first be identified. I didn't mean to imply that the things I listed are sins in your life, just that they were some of my ideas of what the wall could consist of.

I'll back off now and let others take over. I apologize for the offense.

Apology accepted. Whats a fixer? I am not familiar with that Biblical term.

LOL! It's not a biblical term. A "fixer" is someone who likes to fix things.

Someone tells me they have no money, I tell 'em to get a job. Someone says they are tired, I tell 'em to go to bed. Someone got a problem? Let's see how we can fix it.
