In a clip taken from a Sept. 25 interview on ABC's "Good Morning America," Clinton says: "I think the responsibility that the Democrats have may rest more in resisting any efforts by Republicans in the Congress, or by me when I was president, to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac."

The McCain ad shows the Arizona senator as an advocate of tighter regulation on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. That assertion is true. McCain was a co-sponsor of legislation in 2006 that would have placed more restrictions on the mortgage finance companies. But Democrats rejected the legislation.

This is a nice ad.

The ad is good, but it's not great. I liked the BC segment but....It's an old style of trying to persuade , soft imagery, soft voice, soft music, simple and good points and true but its just bland, boring even, like its aimed at 55+ age. Is that the intent I wonder?

Obama ads are running non-stop in Ohio at every time of the day. And they are good. They have him sitting and talking at the camera Bill Clinton style. It's lies and cotton candy , but it's persuasive.

I think at the next debate McCain should use the "Burning down the house" video for his first 10 minutes and let Obama respond to that!
