Biden said, “I hear all this talk about how the Republicans are going to work in dealing with parents who have both the joy, because there's joy to it as well, the joy and the difficulty of raising a child who has a developmental disability, who were born with a birth defect. Well guess what folks? If you care about it, why don't you support stem cell research?”
How did this strike you?

It slaps me in the face to have some idiot imply that if you don't support embryonic stem cell research then you don't "really" care for people.
What a load of bull!!!!! Joe insulted thousands of people with some fast and swift comment! (I am glad he did)

They are using stem cells stemming from adult stem cells (yes we have those  "

Embryonic stem cells have not yet been used for even one therapy, while adult stem cells have already been successfully used in numerous patients, including for cardiac infarction (death of some of the heart tissue)." from here
I believe we need to be placing our efforts in Adult stem cell research and umbilical cord blood (which house stem cells). To learn more about umbilical cord blood look here.
It is not necessary to expand research on embryonic stem cells when we have two viable options that have already been proven and do not take the life of a human.

I guess Obama, and "The Scrappy Kid from Scranton-who rides Amtrak-and will have a beer with you-while staring down dictators", forgot that McCain wanted to do a series of debates with them, but for some reason, they couldn't find the time. hmmmmm.

Joe Biden is a pompous windbag. As with most liberals, he completely misses the point that murdering one human to "cure" another is reprehensible and disgusting.

Sarah is going to wipe the floor with this guy at the debate.
He also stated it was his personal belief (and of course he amplified it as a private issue) that life begins at conception but that is not for him to push his beliefs on everyone else.
He thought he had a winner until the Catholic church called him on it and said that the church's position on "life at conception" is a FACT not a statement of faith.
The more I think about it , the more I think Biden is a perfect match for Obama. They deserve each other in fact!

Does anyone really believe this?
So if you REALLY belive life begins at conception then you must stand up for that life. Otherwise why not admit that killing a 10 year old is ok and you don't want to "push your beliefs on everyone else"?

Another example showing Biden doesn't know what he is doing:
Biden had an awkward moment during a rally in Columbia, Mo., Tuesday. At the start of his remarks, he pointed out several state lawmakers in the audience for praise. When he got to Chuck Graham, a state senator from Green Meadows, Biden urged the lawmaker to "stand up Chuck, let 'em see ya."
But Graham, who is in a wheelchair, can't stand up - a fact Biden quickly picked up on.
"God love ya, what am I talking about," Biden said. "You can tell I'm new," he quipped, asking the audience to stand up for Graham instead.
"It happens all the time," Graham told Politico after the rally. He called Biden very gracious for coming over to him once he realized his mistake.
"It still happens to me after 12 years" in state politics, said Graham. "It doesn't bother me a bit."

It still amazes me that Obama picked Joe 'Gaffe a minute' Biden in such a politically charged atmosphere.

I've never met Palin. But, I have met Kemp... many times. And, Kemp is no Sarah Palin.
I don't think she's going to fold on us.

Socialists like to believe that they are the only enlightened ones in the universe. But, Obama thinks we have 59 states (57 of which he had visited) and Biden has just been one long running mistake.

Over 80% of children with Down's Syndrome are murdered. Their murder is legally protected by people like Biden and BO. It is encouraged by their friends.
The last thing Republicans need is lectures about child care from people who empower their killers.

ANybody see the special Katie Couric did on news about family with down syndrome?
I was suprised!
She spoke to a couple that said the dr. gave them no positive alternatives and let them out the side door of the office after telling them about their pregnancy. The had the whole "choice" influx
but did a really good job of pointing out that more needs to be done to show positive side instead of just drawbacks. Hmm mabye Katie is turning a little?
