A new Colorado law is helping homosexual activists achieve their goal of forcing Christians to teach biblical condemnation of homosexuality only behind the closed doors of their sanctuaries. The as-yet untested state law promotes sexual identity "perception" to the level of skin color under state discrimination laws.

As I have said, I see a time coming when teaching a good ole fashioned sermon against sin could land on in jail.

You are always on shaky ground when you get excited about something in WorldNut Daily. I saw nothing in the bill limiting any preaching or legitimate church activity. In fact Section 1 of the bill clarifies the limitation of the act re: religious expression and worship. The act basically adds sexual orientation to the list of groups covered but antidescrimination law in Colorado.
That said, there is clearly an issue for debate about whether the law will be a good idea, which Christians might argue from their particular theological perspective. However, this law doesn't change what Pastor Jim can preach from the pulpit.

From the bill, street preachers and "para-church" organizations will be the ones in trouble. Also any individual who speaks out in any manner against homosexuality. Only a church not open to the public or engaging it's community will be left alone. Talk about muzzling morality in the public square. Even saying homosexuality et al is immoral could run you afoul of the law.
