McCain-Palin.

True change will only come when the voters stand up to Congress and replace the reps and senators with new ones.

I have the feeling that just voting the present people out of office will not bring the change that is needed in America.

1. We need to get more Americans to take their right and responsibilty to vote more seriously, and get them to vote.

2. We need to refocus energies to grass roots levels and remove the strangle hold money and political parties have over individuals who desire and are able to make a difference.

I do not believe the problem is the people in office, or the system, as laid out by our fore-fathers. The problem is what our political system has evolved into.

I quess George Washington was right in warning us about the dangers of political parties.

There is only one way the government will change...if we stop voting for people who promise us anything from the government.

We gave the government its power and money because of our fear...and greed.

Leadership? Leadership starts with good followers...and we are not good.

There's an old saying that goes something like this: "If a person is honest when he goes to Washington, he won't be after he has been there awhile." So, though there are some good people in congress, I think we need a total house cleaning. Maybe elections that are set up so that no one can run for President or congress who has ever run for elected office before ...........?

While I understand the desire for another option, we have two real options. None of the above does nothing to address any issue of any importance to you. Apathy and ambivalence are why we have so many leaders in Washington that continue to fill their own pockets with the rewards of the hard work of the citizens. Sorry, but this quiz is not multiple choice.

We did and do give the govt. its power. But I believe it is our fear that keeps it's growing out of control. I think even we conservatives are afraid to let the govt. cut too much spending and too many programs. Programs a nd spending that too many have become accustomed to.

I agree with Leon that our system is a good one, but we have allowed our politicians to corrupt/misuse it. We must take it back.

Term limits. And idea whose time came quite a while ago but the democrats keep fighting against it.

I'm sure that McCain & Palin have more "backbone" and determination to do things a particular way. But then, so do Bush & Cheney.

That's not necessarily a good thing.

Absolutely have term limits. Seats in congress weren't meant for career politicians, originally.

I really don't think either has a back bone, if they did, they wouldn't allow for their campaigns to be managed the way they are. It'll be interesting to see who wins and how well they'll fair for the next 4 years with or without a backbone.
