I was wandering any one seen his TV show, I used to watch him faithfuly a few years ago. But I started to drift away because he wasn't clear the salvation issue and he believed that if you were saved, you can lose it. He pushed the serpent seed docterine, which believed that Eve was sedused by Satan and was pregnated by him and Satan was the father of Cain. He denouced the Rapture theory every chance he could, the Ark carried two of every race of people along with Noah's family, and many other issues that contradict the common teachings in our Churches today. I havn't watch his show in a while, but I think he still on the air. Just curious what everyone thought. God bless!

Well I do not like speaking against another "Minister", but he is a racist, fruitcake, disallusioned, heretic.

Thanks

RC, I know we differ in opinion sometimes, but, on this one, Amen brother.

There used to be a video of him on youtube pulling a gun out on TV when a man entered the television studio.

What makes him so scary in my opinion, is that he can be very convincing to a new Christian or a Christian that hasn't studied the Bible much like I was.

Jesus was not a racist. My dau. was involved with this group and they are racist, but they don't reveal that at first. She got out!

This is a huge problem with this guy. He can make a person believe that anyone who disagrees with him is a heretic. The fact is, I watch him on occasion for a laugh.

I watched Pastor Murray for a few years in the 90's and found him to be an excellent teacher.
I have yet to meet anyone who was correct about everything.
Would someone enlighten me on how he is a racist? I never got that feeling from studying with his show.

Sure, order his tape on the garden and the fall of Adam and Eve.

He says the fruit that Eve partook of was sex with the serpent (who was black) and then had sex the same day with Adam (when she ask him to partake of the fruit (sex)), Eve became pregnant by both the serpant (black) and adam (white) and had twins (Cain (black) and Abel (white) Cain then killed Abel and recieved the mark (being black) for all his off spring.

That is just a quick synopsis of his first tape (it is free by the way).

The guy teaches very convincenly with lots of Scripture( out of context and with major poor link9ing) and all served up with a load of guilt of heresy on anyone who disagrees with him.

Best to be as Forrest Gump when it comes to Arnold and run, run, run.

Thanks
RC

I remember his teaching on Adam and Eve and it made SOME sense, moreso than an Apple as I was taught.
I never heard him teach one of the twins was born black.

Thanks for the response.

Every lie contains a seed of some form of truth. The fact that he says Cain and Abel were twins in the first place should set off the doctrinal alarm bells.

Gen 4:1 ¶ And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
Note: It was Adam who "knew" his wife, not satan.

Gen 4:2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
Though it appears that she bare Abel right after Cain, there is no justification to assume they were twins. The same logic could be used to state that Abel started keeping sheep as soon as he was born and that Cain immediately put the plow in the ground, since that statement appears right after Abel's birth announcement.

Also, we often have to disabuse ourselves of things we heard as children or out in the popular culture when it concerns the Bible. Eve did not necessarily eat an apple. It states she ate of the "fruit of the tree". Fruit just means "what the tree produced". God never said it was an apple tree.

Probably because it's hard for Christians to listen to heretics.

Another problem that I have with Shepherd's Chapel is the almost fanatical insistence on celebrating Passover by "Pastor Arnold." I've heard interviews of people who are attending the observance at the home church, and the speech coming out of them is almost the same "cult-speech" you hear from followers of Rev. Moon. It's eerie to listen to. The only reson I keep tuning back in for a few minutes every so often is to be reminded of what not to believe, and to pray for all of those deceived people (including his "girlfriend," Loretta Lynn - Yes, that Loretta Lynn!) who buy into his claptrap.

Hello broach

I've watched this show a few times and will never go back. Why? The guy is dead, dull, no life. If one is truly tuned in to God, he has life, enthusiastic and encergetic.

Didn't Benny Hinn say something about a "holy ghost machine gun?"

Shepherd's Chapel is against interracial marriages.

Shepherd's Chapel teaches that the Anglo-Saxons are the true descendants of the ancient Israelites; they are the chosen race. This is called British-Israelism and it is the same teaching that is used by the Christian Identity movement. They do not believe in the Trinity and they teach the Serpent Seed doctrine(Black people are supposedly descendants of Satan).
These teachings are sick!

Acts 10
34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

35But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Someone once told me that is also what the Mormon church teaches. I'm not sure about that though.

Strange - there are countless individuals preaching sound doctrine in our world. From the most Pentecostal churches to most conservative Baptist type chuches.

No one is perfect, correct. But it doesn't take much for a Christian to be absolutely correct on the core essentials of Christianity.
