Am I Strong Enough?
Life is a tempest at sea, tossing about us helpless
ships as though we were toys. AM I STRONG ENOUGH?
Do I wipe away a tear? Can I ease someone's pain
while bearing my own? AM I STRONG ENOUGH?
Can I face an armada of darkness to protect a small flickering light ?
M I STRONG ENOUGH?
Do I dare heal a hurting soul? Do I take a stand
among the cries? Am I worthy to cleanse a wound?
AM I STRONG ENOUGH?
Oh, my Father show me how to care, give me the wisdom to ease their pain
without exalting myself.
Jesus my Lord and Savior, give me the strength to mend a broken heart.
MAKE ME STRONG ENOUGH
