Just read this in the papers. It wasn't my church (honest!) but I still feel convicted that I've often failed to see Christ in my neighbour, especially the unloveable one.

Need to try harder.

Heard a smilar story where a hobo came into the middle of the Sunday evening service and sat down in the middle of the aisle right in front of the pulpit. An elderly deacon rose to his feet, and with his cane hobbled down to the front of the church. Everyone was thinking "good, Deacon Jones will throw the bum out of the door." Instead, the deacon slowly brought himself to the floor and put his arm around the hobo..
